Photo Gallery Module Documentation

Introduction

Group Package 1 websites contain a mix of default verbiage and imagery, with your group's details. This is managed for you by Scouts Online. There is no ability change the settings.

If you'd like to upgrade to a higher package level, please contact us.

This module is only available on package level 2 websites. If you'd like to upgrade to a higher package level, please contact us.

This module is only available on package level 3 websites. If you'd like to upgrade to a higher package level, please contact us.

Display a list of Photo Albums or display photographs from a selected Photo Album.

Website visitors will be able to click and album to view or see the photos from an album that you want to display.

Use Cases

The following panels show specific tasks. Click on a panel to see the procedures.

Setup a Photo Albums List

Display a list of photo albums, for website visitors to select to view.

To edit a module, follow these steps:

Click the settings below the module and override the default settings (see here) or add a module to your own pages, using the Page Designer
Select a Display Style. See Fig. 1.
Leave the Show Album field blank
The selected Sections will include albums that have the corresponding section checked in Admin/Photo Albums
Set the Animation Fields as required
Click to keep your changes or to abandon your changes

NB. If you make a mistake, you may reverse the change in the Admin/Admin Audit Trail

Display a Specific Album

Display the photographs withint a specific photo album on your web page.

To edit a module, follow these steps:

Click the settings below the module and override the default settings (see here) or add a module to your own pages, using the Page Designer
Leave the Display Style field blank.
Select your photo album in the Show Album field. See Fig. 1 below.
The Sections fields are ignored when displaying a single album.
Set the Animation Fields as required
Click to keep your changes or to abandon your changes
